I’ve been busy this week at the Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek, Colorado. I’m traveling, so I’ll keep this Friday edition of Golden Opportunity brief. I will talk about what’s been working in my portfolios though, so make sure you don’t skip the ending.

I’ve met with a bunch of companies here, kicking the tires and trying to find the best values for my portfolios. I will be talking more about what I’ve discovered here in the coming days and weeks.

While I don’t like being away from my family, it’s the kind of work I’ve built my career on: meeting people face to face, checking their claims against their deeds, and coming up with high quality analysis that I feel proud to put my name behind.

So far this year, my portfolios are absolutely crushing it. It helps to have gold and silver at/near all time highs, but you have to keep in mind that most gold and silver companies don’t keep pace with the underlying moves in the metal.

Understanding why most companies don’t keep up with the metal is key to finding the companies that are likely to hand you windfall profits.

There are many reasons for this underperformance – but over the long term it comes down to one major factor:

Uneconomic projects.

It’s not enough to find gold or silver on a property. A talented geologist can squeeze a few grams out of almost any cow pasture on the planet. There’s billions of tonnes of gold in the ocean… but it is completely unaffordable to extract.

So any significantly large property in or near a gold district is going to have gold in it. Once you drill a few hundred holes and put together all the official paperwork, it might even end up being a lot of gold. Millions of ounces even…

But the cost to mine an ounce is dependent on how many grams there are in a tonne of dirt. And the profits flow from there.

It’s just basic arithmetic. If each tonne of dirt doesn’t have enough gold in it, you go broke, no matter how many tonnes you mine. You can’t make up for losses on volume!

That’s it. That’s the secret to figuring out if a gold prospect is worth your investment: can they potentially mine it economically and turn a profit – or will they go broke the more they mine?

My entire focus is on finding companies that have long-term potential to be economically mined.

And so far this year, I’ve had success above and beyond what the price of gold and silver have done.

All three of my paid membership portfolios have an average gain of over 100% so far this year. One of my favorite firms was Orogen Royalties – which was recently acquired for a 276% gain.

In my Golden Portfolio service, we currently have ZERO companies with a return below 26% for the year.

And in Golden Portfolio 10X (my service dedicated to undervalued small cap prospectors, explorers and developers) I have 11 companies that are up over 100% this year – and only 1 company in the red.

From my perspective, we have a long way to go to see the bulk of these companies hit anything close to fair value.

The time is still excellent to put some money to work in the gold sector. Don’t wait.

Talk to you next week with details from Colorado.

Best,

P.S. I have a big announcement coming Wednesday, September 17, at 11 a.m. ET – one that could make you a lot of money in the next few years. You see…

I only recommend gold companies with massive discrepancies between their share price and the underlying value of their cash flow based on the gold they produce. I’ve written about this before as the “Golden Anomaly.”

Now, I’ve just built the ultimate portfolio for the current bull market. In it, you’ll find my top 30 picks – including seven top-tier silver miners poised for potential 100X gains as silver plays catch up.

This portfolio is already up 3X more than physical gold just in 2025. Stay tuned and keep your eyes on your inbox this coming Wednesday, September 17, at 11 a.m. ET when I roll out my next big opportunity to earn a generational fortune from “Golden Anomaly” miners.
